SUBJECT : VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF INNOVATION AND TRANSFORMATION- AUB ONLINE



The Office of Innovation and Transformation- AUB Online has an opening for the position of Program Manager , above grade 12.  Since this provides an opportunity for promotion from within, please circulate this information and/or post it in your area of jurisdiction so that those interested and having the minimum qualifications may apply not later than January 20, 2023.

 
I. Basic Functions:

The Program Manager is primarily responsible to lead and oversee the introduction and implementation of a newly institutionalized Program Management, Marketing and Recruitment model and process for online degree and non-degree programs across the different faculties at AUB. The role will manage communication channels and maintain relationships with Online Program leads across the university.
 
II. Minimum Requirements:
  1. Thinks Strategically: Continually identify new opportunities to develop strategic goals, programs or services and their specific placement within AUB distribution channels.
  2. Drives Agendas Forward: Empowers staff to drive agendas forward, assisting where necessary.
  3. Leads by Example: Sets the standard of excellence for staff. Becomes a leader and a critical player.
  4. Exemplifies Strong Leadership / Management Skills: Exhibits strong organizational time management skills. Able to prioritize or reprioritize and delegate projects and initiatives. Consistently sets and meets deadlines ensuring integrity and accuracy of deliverables.
  5. Employs superior communications (verbal and written) and analytical skills.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related subjects. A graduate degree is an asset.
  7. More than 5 years of experience in program management including a proven experience in dealing with executives.
  8. Commitment to outstanding levels of customer service.
  9. Highly responsive.
  10. An understanding of the marketing and sales cycle in the higher education context.
  11. Commitment to updating organizational systems.
  12. Excellent command of English and Arabic.
  13. Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PPT, Moodle (or other Learning Management System).
  14. Knowledge of CRM systems
