an opening for the position of
Senior Laboratory Scientist , in grade 11.

| I. Basic Functions: |
|
Responsible for providing critical support to ongoing research activities at the Kamal A. Shair Central Research Science Laboratory (KAS CRSL). Utilizes advanced expertise in Biology to provide critical support to ongoing research activities, analyze complex data sets, and maintain research accuracy. Responsible for running training and routine daily calibration of the equipment/machinery. They will perform most of the Laboratory maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and stocking supplies. Collaborates with researchers and scientific personnel to plan and execute research projects. |

| II. Minimum Requirements: |
-
Bachelor degree in Biology or Chemistry, plus 5 years of experience. Or Masters degree in Biology or related field with 3 years of experience.
-
At least 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and work related software.
-
Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
