SUBJECT : VACANCY IN THE IT MEDICAL CENTER APPLICATIONS



The IT Medical Center Applications has an opening for the position of Associate Software Engineer , in grade 12.  Since this provides an opportunity for promotion from within, please circulate this information and/or post it in your area of jurisdiction so that those interested and having the minimum qualifications may apply not later than November 22, 2024.

 
I. Basic Functions:
Responsible for developing and updating Information Technology (IT) applications or integrations to support the AUBMC strategic goals. Involves analyzing, designing, developing, maintaining, supporting programs/applications/interfaces, creating technical specifications, as well as test plans and all related documentation in collaboration with other IT teams.
 
II. Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and source management, preferably as part of a team.
  3. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  4. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio as well as other software as needed by the job.
  5. Familiar with any of the following programming languages .NET Framework, .NET Core, HL7, Intersystem Object Script.
  6. Familiar with SDLC, OOP, SOLID principles, and Software Design Patterns.
  7. Familiar with SQL Server, T-SQL, designing relational databases and SSRS.
  8. Capable to learn Intersystem IRIS integration platform.
  9. Capable of learning other programing languages such as RPG, FoxPro to maintain or build on existing solutions.
  10. Capable of learning mobile applications development.
  11. Demonstrates strong client focus by consistently addressing client needs promptly and efficiently.
  12. Maintains attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed accurately and precisely.
  13. Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve shared objectives.
